ARCAN (Atlantic Religious Congregations Associate Network) Conference was held May 27th-28th, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at Mount St. Vincent University, which welcomed 121 Associates and Aisters from various communities in Atlantic Canada.
The theme of the weekend was ‘Journeying Together in Relationship.’ The presenters were Peg Madigan, CND Associate, also a NACAR Board Member and Ann Gotfryd, CND Associate from Toronto, Canada
Each of the presentations was based on scripture passages. The passages included were the Emmaus Story from Luke, the Ruth-Naomi story and the passage from Acts 18:24-28 (Apollos and Priscilla and Aquila). Each presentation was concluded with a time prayer, reflection and table discussion. The weekend ended with this question:
“As we journey together, into what future are we being called?”
